Introduction: Church, today we are going to talk about something critical—the divine order that God has established. This is not a casual guideline; it is a structured system designed for our protection, provision, and prosperity. When we align with God's order, we walk in His blessings. When we reject it, we invite chaos. The question today is: Are you under the covering of His divine order, or are you standing outside of His protection?
God's Order in Creation: The Bible begins with God's order. Genesis 1 shows us that He did not create the world in disorder but with precision. Colossians 1:16-17 tells us that "by Him, all things were created" and that "in Him, all things hold together." If God's order holds the universe together, how much more should we trust Him to keep our lives together?
Psalm 104:5 reminds us that God "set the earth on its foundations." Just as creation is secure under God's command, so is the life that submits to Him.
God's Order in Authority and Governance: Romans 13:1-2 tells us that "there is no authority except from God." That means every legitimate governing structure—whether in the family, Church, or nation—is part of His order. We walk in His protection when we submit to God's established authority.
Exodus 18:21-22 gives us an example—Moses appointed leaders to govern the people under God's direction. Why? Because order brings peace, while rebellion breeds chaos.
God's Order in the Family: Church, we must understand this: the family is under attack today because it represents God's divine order. The Bible clarifies in Ephesians 5:22-25 that marriage is a picture of Christ and the Church. Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the Church. Wives, respect your husbands. Children obey their parents (Colossians 3:18-21).
Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train up our children in God's ways. When the family follows God's order, the home is blessed. When it rejects His order, it invites turmoil.
God's Order in the Church: God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:40). He has set up spiritual leadership, and Hebrews 13:17 tells us to submit to our leaders because they watch over our souls. If the Church operates in disorder, how can we expect the world to take us seriously?
Titus 1:5 says that elders were appointed to establish order. A church that rejects authority invites division. But a church that walks in God's order is unstoppable!
The Blessings of God's Order:
Divine Protection – Psalm 91:1-2 says that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High find refuge under His wings. When you stay under God's order, you are under His covering.
Spiritual Stability – Matthew 7:24-27 tells us that the wise man builds on the rock by obeying God's Word. Isaiah 33:6 says, "Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times." Do you want peace in your life? Then stay in God's order!
Blessings and Prosperity – Deuteronomy 28:1-14 teaches us that obedience brings blessings. Malachi 3:10-11 tells us that when we follow God's financial order, He rebukes the devourer for our sake!
The Consequences of Rejecting God's Order:
Chaos and Confusion – Judges 21:25 tells us that when there was no leadership, "everyone did what was right in his own eyes." That is the world we live in today—confused, rebellious, and unstable.
Destruction and Judgment – Romans 1:18-32 warns us about the consequences of rejecting God's natural order. Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death."
How to Stay Under God's Order:
Study and Apply God's Word – Joshua 1:8 says to meditate on the Word day and night. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that Scripture instructs, corrects, and trains us in righteousness.
Submit to God's Authority – James 4:7 tells us to submit to God, then resist the devil, and he will flee! Hebrews 12:9 reminds us that obedience to the Father brings life.
Be in Fellowship with the Body of Christ – Hebrews 10:25 warns us not to neglect meeting together. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 tells us there is strength in unity. Stay connected!
Closing Call to Action: Church, the question is simple: are you living under God's divine order? Are you following His principles in your home, relationships, Church, and decisions? Or are you standing outside His covering?
If you need to realign your life with God's order today, now is the time. Come to the altar, repent, and step back into the place of His protection. His arms are open, and His order brings life!
Let's pray.
