Opening Scripture:
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, ‘He catches the wise in their own craftiness.’" – 1 Corinthians 3:19
Introduction: The Test of a Lifetime
Ladies and gentlemen, I have good news and bad news.
First, the bad news: I recently had to take an IQ test—not just any test, but a secular IQ test filled with worldly wisdom, woke values, and religiously educated nonsense that left Jesus out completely.
And guess what? I FAILED.
I didn’t just fail—I set a new record for rock-bottom scores! I was so low on their scale that they had to create a new category just for me: "Too Dumb to Debate."
According to their elite, self-appointed wise men, I’m dumber than a stump and should probably avoid sharp objects and doors without push signs.
But before the sorrow overtook me, I did something radical—I took the Biblical IQ Test, answering the same kinds of questions, but from God’s perspective instead of the world’s.
Guess what? I NAILED IT! 🎯
Point 1: The World’s Wisdom is Foolishness to God
The Bible warns us about so-called “wisdom” that leaves out God:
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." – Romans 1:22
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." – Proverbs 9:10
Let’s be honest: the world’s version of wisdom is a mess:
A man can be a woman today, and tomorrow, a dragon? 🐉
Evil is called good, and good is called evil (Isaiah 5:20).
They think you can be "your own god" (Genesis 3:5) but can't even fix breakfast without reading the instructions on a cereal box!
The truth is, I didn’t fail their test—their test failed reality!
Point 2: The Bible’s Wisdom Stands Forever
So, let’s compare my results on both IQ tests:
Question | World’s Answer | Biblical Answer | Score |
What is the purpose of life? | "To be happy and do whatever makes you feel good!" | "Fear God and keep His commandments." (Ecclesiastes 12:13) | ✅ |
Where did we come from? | "Random cosmic accident, billions of years ago." | "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) | ✅ |
What happens after we die? | "Nothing, we just stop existing." | "It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) | ✅ |
Who is the most important person in history? | "A tie between Karl Marx, Oprah, and Beyoncé." | "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever!" (Hebrews 13:8) | ✅ |
What is a woman? | "Uh... we are still researching that." | "Male and female He created them." (Genesis 5:2) | ✅ |
According to THEIR standards, I was a complete failure. But according to GOD’S standards… I ROCKED IT! 🎸💥
Point 3: My Name is on the Roll That Matters!
Here’s where it gets even better!
My name might not be on Harvard’s genius list,
I might never be invited to give a TED Talk,
And I may never get a Woke Wisdom Award…
But my name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life! And that’s the only role that matters!
"But rejoice that your names are written in heaven." – Luke 10:20
When I stand before God, He won’t be asking for my GPA, my IQ score, or if I got a participation trophy. He will be looking for one thing: Did I know Jesus?
And when I say YES!, He’s going to say: "Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Lord!" (Matthew 25:21)
And THAT is why this "bummer news" turned out GREAT!
Conclusion: What About You?
Are you chasing worldly wisdom or building your life on God’s wisdom?
Is your name on a college dean’s list or the dean's and Heaven’s roll call?
Are you approved by men, or approved by God?
Final Invitation: If you’ve been brainwashed by woke wisdom, you can wash your mind with God’s Word (Romans 12:2). If you’ve been worried about fitting in with the world, remember that friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4). And if your name isn’t on Heaven’s roll yet, today’s the day to get it there!
How?
Admit that you’ve bought into the world’s lies.
Repent and believe in Jesus Christ.
Prepare (study hard) to fail the world’s IQ test and ace God’s eternal exam!
Why? Because, in the end, I’d rather be a fool for Christ than a genius for Satan!
🔥 And there you have it! 🔥I hope this sermon is grace-based, Biblically correct, and seriously funny—without compromising the truth!
