Saying it in a poem/song:
A Nation's Crossroads
Verse 1:
A nation stands at the edge of its fate,
Opening borders, swinging the gate.
Foundations once built on the Rock so secure,
Now, we crumble beneath what we chose to endure.
Chorus:
Oh, how do we wander, so lost in the haze,
Rejecting the truth for the world's crooked ways?
Expecting new dawns with the same darkened night,
A nation divided, refusing the Light.
Verse 2:
We’ve cast aside the principles strong,
That taught us the difference between right and wrong.
We preach of progress, but the past we ignore,
Repeating mistakes till they’re wounds we can’t restore.
Chorus:
Oh, how do we wander, so lost in the haze,
Rejecting the truth for the world's crooked ways?
Expecting new dawns with the same darkened night,
A nation divided, refusing the Light.
Bridge:
A house built on sand cannot hope to stand,
When storms of corruption sweep through the land.
But a remnant still prays, their knees to the ground,
Calling on Heaven, where hope can be found.
Verse 3:
Will we wake from this cycle, this echoing curse,
Before all is lost, and things grow much worse?
Will we turn back to God, to His justice and grace,
Or march blindly on to our fall in disgrace?
Final Chorus:
Oh, how do we wander, so lost in the haze,
Rejecting the truth for the world's crooked ways?
Expecting new dawns with the same darkened night,
A nation divided, refusing the Light.
Outro:
But hope still remains for the heart that repents,
For the cries of the faithful, Heaven relents.
May we rise from the ashes, a beacon to see,
Restored by His mercy, a nation set free.
